Thumbs down

Well I was going to give the new guy a chance but stuff like telling Brett via text message that he is no longer a Cig dealer is beyond unprofessional. No way Small Thunder will ever do as good of a run like Brett and PBC, the dinner , the fireworks, Coconuts to ourselves, the way they let you store trailers there etc etc e, everything is top notch.

I mean not enough common courtesy to send at least an email ?
Brett doesn`t charge anything for the dinner, the run, the fireworks, does it all on their dime to support the brand and they throw him away like last nights garbage via text .. thats messed up

That means Osage Beach-based Performance Boat Center, which has carried the Cigarette line since 2015, is out. Brett Manire, who co-owns Performance Boat Center, said he was informed of the change via text message Friday evening.

I can't believe that this came about. Big Thunder now has a pretty dominant line up to choose from for new sales. I would say PBC probably made more off the used Cig inventory versus the new Cig orders. I've dealt with both places and good luck to future sales for both dealers

I have no opinion of BT, sure they are fine folks, I do have an opinion of Cig sending a text message to notify a business partner/dealership there relationship is over. If true its gutless and unprofessional !!!!, sounds like a 20 something year old would pull who didn't have the qualifications of there respective title. I hope someone at Cig has already picked up a phone and made an apology to PBC !!!!!!!!!!

BT folks are first class, no doubt about it. With BT and PBC, and 3 or 4 others, we have more top notch dealerships at LOTO than anywhere that I have been. I have told folks all over the country looking for performance oriented boats to visit the lake to see just about anything you wish. We are spoiled.

Redheads Lakeside Grill is top notch, and now another stop has been introduced!

The only experience I had with Small Thunder was when I was in a pickle and needed to launch a jet ski. They had a launch at their facility but told me it was private and to go pound sand. This was in September and they were not even remotely busy. I can launch a jet ski is 5 minutes . give me a break, can`t do me a favor?

Brett would never do that.

Basing your entire opinion of BT on this one small experience is not really a fair comparison. There are +'s and -'s for everybody.

Part 1, Maybe? It is looked at as more than just "Launching a ski", there are liabilities involved. Would you let any stranger on to your business property and just take over?

Part 2, are you sure?

Reggie would never partner up with his competition he was out to bit you, out run you and win the race, not help you sell boats, he believed in his boats period!
to me this speaks volumes of Iconic

speaks more about cig to me.
Theres 3 sides to every story, but from the little bit of info that has been shared seems like a childish move from cigarette. If they do that to their biggest dealer, how is customer service going to be to anyone other than those buying 12 boats at a time or $3 million Tirana’s?

Yes because I`m 90% sure afterwards I went to PBC and asked if I could launch the ski and they said no problem, also pretty sure they let me keep the trailer there .
I did say that was my one and only experience with Small Thunder. I`m sure they are just great otherwise . I`m just some lake lice jet skier so buzz off was the vibe I got .. it`s okay.

Well I didn`t need to take the whole place over just back a trailer into water and back up the ski and take off. less than 5 minutes . Didn`t think it was that much to ask.
