I have to agree with Mitch, I`ve got a '01 ZRT 800 and it`s fine in the trails. I`m a big guy also and it`s a bigger sled that fits my frame better than those silly little sleds and when you`re out on the lake there is not many who can beat you.

I`m not a brand loyal guy at all, just seem to have had great luck with Arctic Cat, but thay new Yamaha R1 four stroke really interests me. Does anyone on here have one? and does it really go better than what we are used to???

Kurt.

We should try to get an OSO ride put together. After last year I have a lot of riding to catch up on.

Like anything else so much depends on application. Where you are going to ride, with whom, what type of riding (i.e. fast, touring, lake burning etc) Each sled has it plusses and minuses and you will always hear brand bashing. Each brand has sleds that will do, with a little more input about how you intend on using it would be helpful.

Yeh, what Shane said. Thats why I tow a trail sled behind my T Cat. That way when I come to a winding trail I can switch. See, I can beat most people towing a sled behind me Take that you bashers I JUST WANT SNOW. Even a fan cooled 340 is faster than my sled when there is no snow. Which brings up another subject. Ever been on a real, I mean REAL bumpy trail where you can only ride like 5 mph on your knee? I always think about how much I spent on my sled and how a 1970 Rupp could go as fast and be as smooth as mine at the time. I see these sleds out there and never put them down, I just say hey, they are out here having fun....run what ya brung....not at home watching some lame TV. But without snow, I am watching lame TV
