OT: Light truck tires.
I'm in need of tires 255/75/16 for my truck. I got 55K out of my Michelin tires. All highway miles with 30% towing.
Anyone have there likes and dislikes and what kind of mileage. I live in MD so snow is not a big factor. Any help will help. Thanks in advance, Doug |
I replaced my F250 tires with Firestones last year as they were the only thing available I found in an e-load rating. I wish I would have gone with the d-load as they ride a bit nicer and there is a larger selection. I really dont need the e rating for my boat or other trailers. I bought mine at www.Tirerack.com and had them mounted/balanced at the local Sams Club for $9 a tire.

Doug, Check out this thread:
http://www.offshoreonly.com/forum/sh...ighlight=tires I am VERY happy with my Coopers. They handle as good or better than the BFGs, driving without a load, as well as towing. |
Go back to Michelen,,,, I just went through the same thing, I had 3 sets of different tires on my truck is 3 months, I gave up and went back Michelen.

Michelin
IMHO the best tire for light truck. I ve tried being cheap & using other brands, but the Michelins are the best there is. Real durable |
