Thanks to Merc and DSM

I have to give some recognition to both Mercury and Dick Simon Marine for taking care of me. We had been having a problem with the port motor (500 EFI) in our 01 Top Gun not reaching peak rpm (motor had 74 hours on it). A leak down test showed there was a problem with the motor as well. Dick Simon Marine pulled the heads off the motor and found some scuffing in one of the cylinders as well as some leaking valves. Merc promptly sent out a new motor to replace the one we have now. Mercury backed up their product 100% and DSM took care of getting the info to Merc very quickly.:cool:

It is nice to hear that both DSM and Merc stepped up to the plate and made things right for you.
