I read somewhere that Ted Zoli was working on restoring APBA
racing to the Northeast. Unless the schedule is incomplete it
looks like that isn't going to happen.

Unhappy

I am disappointed they have dropped Cleveland, my wife and I attended both years and had a great time. Great Party Town and very easy to get around to all the Race parties and events.

That is great news about Milwaukee. I hope they keep that on the schedule. It has been along time since they were on Lake Michigan.

Payton, for sure we need a COPS run for this one.

Default Cleveland off the schedule

I emailed APBA and inquired why Cleveland was removed from the schedule. I received a prompt response from Ted Zoli stateing that they didn't want us (APBA Boat Race). He said to contact the Mayors office. He said some nice things about Cleveland. The people in charge are probably blow boaters.

Congratulations to Milwaukee. I don't fault the APBA for going to a city that wants and supports them.

Thanks for the reply Ted.

We are working on a Cincinnati Race for June 14-15th aslo. However, this will be a Great Lakes Silver Cup Race (APBA Sanctioned). Schedule looks awesome, cannot wait till 2003.

Someone had mentioned to me that they thought the Bahamas race should be early so to attract more racers and fans. Makes sense to me.
I say make it an April race. I am more than ready to hit the warm weather that time of year. If they're going to be racing over there, why not make it more attractive and important (points) to the racers.
