i just happen to find this velvet i forgot about...
what are the differences between all those?

That’s a c72. 71 is a 1017. 71 is shorter.

so basically there all the same in terms of handling power, reliability etc... ??? the only difference is one is shorter to play with center of gravity?

No, red tag 71 has fewer forward clutches. 1” means nothing in center of gravity / center of balance.

10-18-014 (72C) is rated at 450 lbs ft. in an in-line, 1:1 configuration. The V-drive version is rated to almost 600(!).

The 10-17 (71C) is rated at 300 lbs ft.
