Neat belt tension tool
 

Bought his , it works. Could maybe use a extra tack weld on the insides of the 2 ends that seat into the belt groove. But it definitely works.

put new belts on my Cobalts 5.7 and there is really no way no get Enough leverage on alternator In its location To have the belt tightened properly.

I removed water intake hose and placed this tool from crank pulley to alternator pulley and it worked at getting that belt nice and tight .
