Surveyor in Rochester NY area
 

Can anyone recommend a surveyor, hopefully someone familiar with fountain boats, in the Rochester New York area.

Thinking I might want to get a survey before I take the 6hr drive to go and look at the boat.

Pete Eaves - who used to own Great Lakes Boat Repair - used to do really good survey work. I Goggled his name and came up with this:

Although it looks like he's moved to Virginia, maybe he could recommend somebody in his old hometown.

There was a real nice looking 29 fs on FB on one of them lakes for around 38 or 35 k with a 525 or a 500 a few months ago, seller fully admitted transom was bad. The ad disappeared and pretty sure I seen it relisted by someone else for 50 or 55 k real recently so hopefully its not a 29 and same boat.
