Hi Folks,
I live in Nova Scotia and want to do a bucket list trip to the upcoming races. Looking for tips. I would fly to Miami and rent a car, there are a few affordable motels left, walkable to Duvall St, Simonton Street area but I would need to book quick. Flying from here to KW is double what it is to Miami. Is that a good location, Is the race viewing area walkable from there. What about area beaches, anything walkable. Small boat rentals? Ride along for gas money?? Any tips are welcome. |
Well worth the trip . Just go ahead and put it together you won’t be sorry ! A great place to watch is Mallory Square , unless things have changed. That will be walkable from Simonton . Great race and even better parties !

Thank you,
From that it appears the races are on the north side?? |

Hi,
Would you share where a viewing area is for the poker run boats, a specific marina or do they end up in different spots. |
Unrelated to the current topic, my good friend is a marine harbor pilot and had the honor to guide this bad boy to our harbor on the weekend,

The Poker Run boats are scattered around town, but most of them and the action are centers in the Seaport at The Conch Republic Seafood Company. All of the race boats are at the Truman Waterfront park, at the end of Southard Street. There will be plenty of action all week. Come say hello , our team is The S-43 Celsius boat. I lived in Cape Breton, NS for a time when I was young.

There is usually a boat parade down Duval St. That is always fun . They shut down the street and usually have vendors out on the street .
