6 X 600 HCB 65 Estrella
https://www.yachtworld.com/yacht/2022-hcb-65-8216313/
4.8mm asking price (after a 200k reduction) WORLDS FIRST 65 ESTRELLA AVAILABLE WITH MERC 600's TODAY, 3,600 HP!! LENGTH: 65′ 0” • BEAM: 16′ 0” • DEADRISE: 18° • WE IGHT: 70,000 lbs • FUEL CAPACITY: 1,730 Gallons This is an older video (only 5 motors) for those who wonder what a 65 ft center console looks like: |
Oooomph 70,000lbs dry?
|
1730 gallons of fuel and probably a 173 mile range:fear:
|
Wow that’s a monster. But for 5m I’m going with a more typical yacht/cruiser over a center console on steroids
|
I would take Coskers SL 70 over this in a heartbeat even if it is a design over a decade old, powered by twin diesels and runs 80 - it just is a logical design of amenities vs a science experiment if how many o/bs can be hanged on a boat
My $0.02 |
Sometimes less is more.

I wonder how those Seven Marine engines treated that guy and what it really sold for.
On another note, arent you kind of into the price of a 60 Viking at that point? Whats the attraction of a 65 CC over a 60 Viking for the same price? Wouldnt a tournament fishing guy want the Viking or another tournament big fish kinda boat? List says $3.6M to $4.7M |

List says $3.6M to $4.7M The 65 CC has a shallower draft and is likely easier to handle than a traditional sportfish. Its also faster. I'd like to see a 65 CC pull up to a waterfront bar like Two Georges and try to tie up for lunch.......unless its a Tuesday there won't be any dock space for that size boat. |
Not that I should have a right to comment on this because my broke a$$ will never buy one,,,,,,,lol,,,, but even if I did I think that many OB's just look stupid and to me scream "I have a small D!#k and am compensating".

Anything 7 marine powered is worth less than Yamaha/Mercury at this point just from a maintenance/parts perspective.

Ironically yeah you are right as far as a tie-up boat, there is an Estrella out at Peanut and Key Lime all the time. There are usually 2-3 people on it - thats it. I always joke about the guy becasue he looks bored. Please elaborate on what bars have enough room to park more than one 65 foot boat.... ? LOL If you are going "bar hopping" why are you doing it in a 65 foot boat. Isnt a 30-40 enough and a chitload easier? I mean, shouldnt they just use a tender? There isnt a single bar from lauderdale to jupiter that can even fit a 65 on an ordinary weekend. Just because you can doesnt mean you should....

An 60 Viking is a way nicer boat they are beautiful inside with a proper engine room with big engines that can rumble no outboard trolling engines on the transom either plus the flybridge is a very cool place to drive from

For that price and can barley get out of the rain under way ? No thanks .
|
those outboards and center console design will not be able to run in the ocean conditions the big Viking can those big diesels in her belly make a low center of gravity that eats waves and does it every day the outboards can not take that
