I have no idea why you are talking all this junk but whatever. Skater30 was involved in 1 bad boat accident many years ago, not 2 accidents. Not sure what boat you own. Having ridden in several inboard & outboard cats & owned a 30 outboard for several years & 10's of thousands of miles. There's less than zero chance you want to run any outboard versus a similar size inboard thru rough water, which I believe was Skater30's point. Enjoy your sober time in KW & get home safely.

Your right...for some reason I thought this accident was a boat owned by him and they where running together shortly after the sale.

The boat in that accident was owned by Skater30 for a long time then he sold it. He converted it from naturally aspirated Sterlings to 400s. I rode in that 30 Skater with big blocks & with 400s. He NEUTERED it by making it an outboard boat to make his girlfriend happy. I'm a HUGE outboard fan because that's what I can afford. There's less than zero chance an outboard anything will run with an inboard in even remotely the same size. Our buddies 340X with 450s would not even be close to hanging with me in our 'little" 308 Skater with 300XS when it was rough.
Can we please get back to what this thread was started for

340X are fantastic boats. Love the layout, interior & everything about them. Our buddy that owns a 340 with 450s said there's no chance he could hang in rough water. Our old 2008 30 Skater was nowhere near as nice as our buddies 340X. Just going by what he said & we saw 1st hand.

You have that old house on LOTO and just moved from the delta? So you out run 340’s on LOTO with your 30 skater? and people think I’m drinking....wow
