Have myself a newer truck
 

Have had it for about a week now.. 2000 3/4 ton heavy duty with the 5.7. I think it is big enough to pull my little 18' boat LOL!! :D :D Blacked out the windows, got a toolbox and put a nice powerquest decal on it :cool: As we speak we are painting the grille, bumpers and mirrors to match the truck..

Travis, I have the same truck & engine. I have almost 80k mi. without any problems. And it still pulls my 38 Powerquest just fine!

Trav, you buy a grandpa truck, or what? Just kidding, bud. Nice truck. Can't beat a 3/4-ton, unless it's with a 1-ton.

a 3/4 ton with "heavy duty" its considered a 1 ton ;) thats at least what the dealer said.. :rolleyes: dealers are as bad as lawyers LOL!

I know it looks like a old guy truck, but big wheels will come in the spring, but the funny thing is I find my self listening to oldies music now :eek:

good lookin truck trav . . .becca is right , you would be amased at what increasing the breathing ability of you truck will do. KN air box/filter, perf exh. system an maybe a chip or somthing :cool: :cool:. . . .an . .oh yea, some new wheels an tires :D :D :D . . well thats just fer looks , but still important. . . .isnt it nice to have friends to help spend all your extra money :rolleyes: :D :D :p . . .hey, that grill treatment looks pretty cool to, a little tip though, black out (satin or flat) everything behind it like the radiator and core support. it adds a clean amount of detail.

Foul.. 90's music is oldies huh :( Damn have caught myself listening to the stations with elvis and temptations playin :eek: so I must listen to the really old stuff :)


Becca... Its all stock right now.. First I have to get the motor built for the boat then time to put money into the truck, looks come before performance.. Big wheels with some tasty rims.

Glassdave, that for the tip bro, thats what I did on my little ghetto ride and it looked alot better, I forgot to even think about doing it on this truck, as soon as I put wheels on it , then I will put some graphics of some kind on it..

If I don't leave the business right away I'll hook you up on a Flowmaster package if you want, I just don't want to leave Danny's family without doing everything I can.
