Just goes to show there is ZERO entry level in this sport anymore. Even the 10 year old used boats are ridiculous. I just can't fathom/justify paying 220k for a 22' boat with 5 basic seats. Take 100k off and it would be more realistic, yes I'm sure the 565 Merc package isn't helping, but good lawd!

Chaudron, Nitra....rocketships at 1/2 the price.

The Swedish Nitra 22 SuperSport Carbon Edition for example has a structural build quality that's pretty much in a league of its own. However, though the interior is nice, some American brands' custom interior offerings Nitra can't touch. With its 5 foot 3 inch beam and 26 deadrise, it might do 90s with a 300R, but it's not a triple-digit boat. The current super-strong dollar really gives these Euro imports a serious price advantage right now. My personal opinion is that the Donzi 18 hull is by far the best-performing design in the Donzi Classic range.

Am I the only one that noticed that almost every time the driver of the Nitra hits a wave of any substance, he has to duck or get soaked. For me, that would get old in a hurry.

It’s the direction he’s going.

There is a Nitra on our lake. Thinnest boat outside of a canoe with electric motor on the side, I’ve ever seen. Think it was 28 or 30ft. Cool looking bosst, but my gosh it’s narrow.

I'm the Nitra driver. Wet ride was completely due to extreme wind from the right. Boat was also leaning to wind side as I didn't have a passenger. Slowed down at some point and couldn't see over the waves when standing on the seat. Will probably not go there again in those conditions but I always want to know what my machinery is capable of.

Nitra has the sharpest bow there is. You can fill the bow ballast tank (about 50 gallons) and slice through everything. Wave length is only thing that makes it shoot to sky but other 22's are far back at that point.

Boat is very narrow and a bit pain when you take 4 people, food and clothes for a week and drive to summer cottage. It's not too easy to move on the boat but once you sit and drive it it's phenomenal. Will most likely hold on to it forever.
Feel free to ask anything and there's more videos of the boat on youtube and insta.

Donzi 22 was designed back when a 330 was tops. With that power it handles great.

Do you think anyone would build one with a 350 HP 6.2 Merc in it?
