OT

OT, as in overtime, thank goodness for it and lots of it, or I would still be in a 18 ft. pontoon with a 40 mariner.

Im very thankful for the rubber boots that kept my feet dry while I was being flooded by my water heater that decided to burst while I was sleeping last night. Last Thanksgiving, it was the upstair toilet that let go and wiped out the ceiling. This year its just carpet , some furniture and the water heater. I think Im going to avoid Thanksgiving next year. But seriously, Im very thankful for my family, including OSO and those I work and play with.:(

I have so much to be thankful for.....as most of you know, my kidneys failed me this year and by some miracle, my wife was a match and she donated to me one incredible healthy kidney!!!

I still can't believe it! I feel like a new person and have a lot to look forward to in life. I was going to buy her a Honda Civic for her next car, but now I am going to buy her a Civic XL!!!!!!!!
Of course it will now have to be a couple of years old!!!!! Hey, you guys know how much those rebuilds are on the 1000SC's and the #6s!!!!!

Seriously, I am so lucky to have She Devil....hell, I knew that and said that before the kidney issue....I am just double lucky now!

I wish everyone the best Thanksgiving....without a doubt, it is by far my best ever.

DMan....and the D is for I am very lucky not to be hooked up to a Dyalisis Machine today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ted G 11-28-2002 03:40 PM

My kids, my wife, family and friends. My best buddy Scott C. that just spent hours with me in 40 degree weather getting my motors started so we could winterize them! And thanks to you all that make my humble life just a little more interesting :D

Happy Thanksgiving to one and all.

I'm thankful for my Mom and Dad and only wish I had told them moreso when they were alive. Thankful for Family, whose support is always there, regardless of the challenges. Thankful for my employees and associates that make our financial life possible. Thankful for the Men and Women who fought to create our Country and those that guard us today to maintain a way of life free of tyranny and defined by Liberty and opportunity. And Thankful for a merciful and Loving God who never lets me down, and who doesn't bail when I let Him down.;)

Thank-you for my hubby, and all his support.

He keeps me strong, putting mom in a
nursing home was the most diffucult thing
ever. God bless him.
I give thanks for my health, too. :(

Steve David---you have said it so well, even for me

I have much to be thankful for, but in a nutshell: I am thankful for such a loving family. I am thankful for good health and that I was born in America, in such a blessed country with an opportunity of starting a business that is prospering and that I can give back to others. I am thankful for those men and women who have fought for our freedom and liberty. I am thankful for a loving and merciful God Who has made a way for me by His grace and forgiveness when I don't deserve it. The Lord has been good to me. :)

My wonderfull wife of 21 years and the 2 beautifull children she gave me!:)

X-Rated30 11-29-2002 05:35 PM

I have been reading these, and thinking of all of the good things going on in life, one in particular. I was going to list it here, but I don't feel like going into it -- too much to type, not quite a miracle yet, and I have to go.

Nevertheless, call your parents tonight. I know you just saw them yesterday, but call them anyway and talk about old times. Think of one or two happy or fun moments, and then pick up the phone and call them for me.:)

Thankful for:

My wife and 2 little girls and of course Jake the yellow lab.

God, for giving my Dad a second chance at life after his heart attack this year.

The rest of my family for being happy & healthy.

My prayers being answered for Doug Lewis' health.

Having the opportunity to have OSO on the net.

And last but not least, all the members of OSO that bring happiness to this great forum. Some bring it when they come....and some bring it when they go.....

;) :D :D :D
