Key West Worlds/Poker Run and trailering to/from......?
 

Probably a dumb question coming here.........just bare with me :)

I've flown down to the Key West worlds several times over the last 5 years and it's been great. A buddy that goes has long wanted to bring his 42 Fountain however dealing with trailering and running back on Sun/Mon has kept him from putting it all together. The boat would be coming from Central VA but neither of us are excited about towing from VA. Obviously we could find someone to haul it to S. FL if we don't tow it ourselves.

Question is, if we do the poker run is there a person/service that would haul the truck/empty trailer to the Keys sometime from Wed to Sun?

Yes there are several guys that run trailers down all week, and haul boats back up to Miami and Lauderdale on Sunday/Monday. When I’ve gone down we ran the boat back one year, another we hitched a ride to Miami at 5 am, and drove the truck back Sunday morning. Weather was really bad that year.
