Possible bad gas question
Finishing up my boat project, should be seeing water in the coming weeks. I was optimistic spring of last year thinking I’d be in the water last summer so we filled up the tank and used 93 octane. Here we are 14 months later and are just now about to see water. What additive do y’all use or should I just pump it all out and put fresh in?
I’m watching this video and wonder if it’s a quality product? https://youtu.be/UfSkE-53NZU Motors are 496’s with 8:71 blowers without much boost. Not planning on running crazy hard just don’t want to cause any problems. thanks. |

I had to pump out 110 gallons this spring due to not being able to run the boat dry after memorial day last year. |
Pump it out and run it in a car or truck with a knock sensor.

I had some last night after a couple burritos!

Yeah I guess the smart thing to do is to give away free gas to friends and family lol

A couple years ago I didnt splash my boat until the end of the season and the gas had gone really bad. The fuel filters would fill up in a few minutes of running with separated gas. On the advice of a mechanic friend I put 8 bottles of heet in each tank, the water came out of suspension in the fuel and engines ran through it no problem.
