Universal joint - help

Hi guys, I’m desperately looking for a universal joint for a metric ASD11. Job is stuck and twin disc can’t help. Used is fine. Any leads?

Why are you classifying it as a Metric ASD11?
What country are you in?
I find it hard to believe Twin Disc isn't any help getting you parts, at least lead you to a dealer in your territory.
Google reveals this US based distributor with 2 Canadian locations.

The boat was built in Italy and therefore metric. Parts are 7+ weeks lead time per twin disc. It’s a universal joint.

Have you tried searching for one by its measured size???
Somewhere like here?? https://www.dennysdriveshaft.com/c97...s_by_size.html

Your local driveshaft shop can`t order a Ujoint?

I had custom new driveshafts made for $600 , they could have made me anything I wanted .

I though the same thing. But he wasn't very specific and never did answer where he was from.
You'd think Arneson designed those around a "commercially" available U-joint size.
Hard to say.

If he's in the US, head to any big rig powertrain/driveshaft shop and see if they'd be available to match them up.

And the metric thing?
I'm still baffled and more than willing to be schooled!
If Arenson/TwinDisc sends a drive to an Italian boat builder do they change all the fasteners to Metric versus if they send a drive to an American boat builder?
Or are they all Metric regardless? Or SAE?
Does Arneson change the U-joint to a metric common joint because it's an Italian boat?

The boat was built in Italy and therefore metric.
By that quote above a Honda Civic built in Greensburg, IN. therefore should have SAE fasteners and be designed in inches?
We all know that's not the case.

Be cautious of auto U joints. I can get auto joints (way cheaper) for Bravo inputs but the needles are a lot smaller so I don't.
