According to some sources, the main sponsor pulled out of Point Pleasant because SBI alledgedly did not bring in enough boats.
Hopefully, they will be a bit more hospitable down in Washington NC.
And hopefully, they will work out the quirks in NO. MUDHOLES
Otherwise, looks like Florida is the only place to race with SBI
OH and NY

The local events will still be in point pleasant..we (the jersey boyz)
have been putting some ideas on the table. And there will be some meetings in the not to distant future. Fear not... offshore racing will still be in Jersey. There is also some speculation about another bay race (still unconfirmed but on the table as well)
be well ...see ya soon

Why does SBI even race New York? There whole list is in Flordia. It will be hard to get much of a following from the northern states to hump it south for every race! Now if I lived in Flordia I would love the list. They should drop NY and not make there teams drive up here. Its clear to me they dont want to race in the north and I sure dont plan on driving to FL for every one of there races.

HEY Randy...good morning to you
I agree with you all the way. hey, I may only be a P class racer, but we make up a large part of the fleet these days. as far as the spectators are concerned, race boats are race boats. So, Im gonna voice my opinion.
anyway, back to your point (good one) I think SBI should too stay down south and let APBA pick up the Northern Venues, IE: point pleasant , NYC, Atlantic City, They would most likely bring more boats anyway.
Oh well...thats all i have to say....I just wanted to say Hi and you got me all riled up.
have a great day
