No one really claims responsibility for the accident but there was contact obviously. Hidden Agenda took out the turn 5 buoy when it happened so the race was delayed while it was replaced. Chris and Jamin were both OK, just scratched up. The tunnel tab was ripped off, tie bar bent, and damage to the left sponson. The left engine hatch was stuck closed. Anyway, they came in under their own power on one engine. Race control had a hell of a time lining everyone back up.

Thanks for the information Becca. I still do not understand if the accident occured before Hidden Agenda rolled or if the accident caused the roll.

It looks like Hidden Agenda was not the only boat to take out a marker:

From the looks of it, I would think that the roll and flip caused the impact w/ TB upon landing.

Becca,
I remember that...I was listening to my VHF and what a mess...many were arguing on who lines up where. Some comments got hot.

I think the WHM bouy spearing happened on Wednesday. There was a new nickname going around:

Ram Bouy

Thought it was pretty funny.
