what year did Baja start putting efi on boats? I have a 1990 300ES and my boat runs fine, I'm just not a huge fan of carbs.

94 is my guess...

In '94 the only EFI engines (according to my brochure) were the 454 Mag and 502 Mag...the rest of the Mercruiser line-up was carbureted.

454 mag efi was exactly what i had in my memory!

As I recall, the 320 EFI came out in the late 80’s wasn’t a lot of those out,
in 93’ the 502 Mag EFI came out, which was the start of EFI being more common in marine applications |
And interestingly enough many convert the early EFI's back to carb.!
