Paging Audio, Need help

Hey Jon,
Few questions, need some guidance and or help.

Got wife a 99 Mercedes SL500
the stock system is in the car but no cd changer.
Who makes a cd changer for this car or is there an adapter for other changers to go in the car?
Dont want to get all involved in changing head units ect.
stock stereo has tape player and weather band radio and all the I am guessing standard features of the 99's but it has the stuff in the truck for cd changer but none there.
Can you help me out?
Im trying to do this sort of cheap if possible since she know's nothing about sound quality and the rest of it.
Thanks bro, your a life saver

Congrats again

Jason

Jay hit your local stereo shop (good one) and see if they sell the adaptor for it. I believe it is a Bez to Alpine adaptor, but I am not 100% sure. Once you get the stuff you can put it in yourself just make sure they get you the correct one. They will know how to get the numbers they need off your particular car. The adaptor will probably set ya back about 100 bucks and then the changer is probably another 200 or so. Some times they will plug right in like with a Saab, but I am fairly sure that all the MB require the adaptors.

You sell cd changers too?
need a cd changer and I will if I have to give her the one I bought for the boat but would rather keep that sony one for the boat and give her another one (she does not need a 10 disc changer in the car)

Any ideas?
Total I wanted to spend about 200-225 ish
Thanks
Jason

The CD Changer is an Alpine CHMS630. I have it in stock. The install is very simple. First you must verify that your car is compatible. Look in the trunk on the left side behind pannel. You should find a thick black cable bundled up with a black molex connector. 10 pin. If your car has this, The changer and adaptor I have will work. Changer sells for $229.00 and the adaptor is $ 70.00. Call me if you want it. Thanks, Barry You can check out our web site @ www.nowaudiovideo.com
