Obviously, it was kick-ass to say the least!:D
I have just received some pics, and i think there will be a full report posted on the main page soon, according to Board God 2.:D
Everybody was EXTREMELY accomodating and nice to us. I think you would be hard pressed to find a better bunch anywhere in the pits! We met some great people ( a few OSO'ers, wish we could have met more!), and had a great time.
Driving the boat was a kick!! It was interesting because I had never driven a cat, much less something like that! The seas were very calm, and the big 40' MTI rode like a cadillac!:D Top speed with the props we had was around 120.:D :D
It actually felt like much less in the big boat. Handling manners were great, and once I got used to the "hook" sensation without the lean, turns were a blast!
I got to make 3 full laps around the course!!
It was like really great sex, it just never lasts long enough!!:eek: :D :D ;)

We got to meet Mr. & Mrs. Summer Obession a few times while in Key West. It certainly seemed to as though the Drambuie team was giving them the royal treatment. I wish we could have spent more time talking to these two. It couldn't have happened to a nicer couple. I gotta tell you, You all can't imagine the grin on S.O.'s face after his ride.
Congrats to both of you. Hope to see y'all at the races next year.

We had a great time, and Gordo is absolutely correct that the Drambuie team was absolutely FIRST CLASS!! We felt like royalty!
The only drawback is that this was our first (but certainly not last) offshore race. How are we ever gonna top this one!:D :D

Hmmm, I don't know. The boat needs a lot of work. Cosmetic, but still work and $$$.
It does have 1000's and #6's though!!:cool: :D
I am still looking into it, but I like to keep my options open:D .

JT told me at least 4 times he wanted to take us out in the Bacardi boat!!!!!:eek:
It just never worked out. They didn't have the back seats (it's a 4 seater!) installed, and then they ran out of water time:(
I volunteered to bolt the seats in!!
I can't even imagine how intense that boat would be!!
JT is one helluva guy!
