There was a story about that PT boat in Boating magazine a while back. Supposed to be the only one left in a military configuration. They were originally powered by twin (or maybe triple) V-12 Allison aircraft motors with something like 1000 hp each - the guy repowered with 800 hp diesels for reliability and lower fuel burn.

Thanks for all the compliments and support during the season.
To F2-34thrttleman I have to say that P4 has been one of the most exiting classes, at the Worlds we had eight (8) boats racing wich is more than some of the Pro series classes.
