Everyone who deals with us really emphasize how they love the attention to detail and customer service they get from us as a small company. My guess is it depends on the company, their customer service, and the individual customer.
I love meeting all my customers before, during and after they buy a boat. Obviously for a larger builder that would be impossible.\
Any thoughts?

Well I look at it this way. It's kinda of like buying a house...
do you want one that was already built and looks pretty much like all the rest (even though they all maybe nice) or would you rather be involved in the design, layout and have something
realtively unique.
I personally would rather be involved in the design from start to finish.
As for quality and customer service there are good and bad boat builders on both ends of the spectrum, but I would rather go with
a custom builder who knows me and my needs.
