Any idea on price for these things?

I hear 300 for a 400 350 for a 500 or 2 300

That thing seems like the dream build for running havasu and the river. What a cool hot rod.

bravo!

My buddy up here Dan Gatto has the first DW28 ever built (Another One) with a pair of 300XSs, it accelerates well and runs 120+. I had just sold my last 28 Skater to a buddy (grey boat in second pic w/ 15" 300XSs) and I had my second 28 Skater back (motors in second pic) at the time when we'd go boating together (my 30 was back at Skater that Summer getting converted). He could out-accelerate the Skaters but couldn't keep up in the rough. Dan likes the boat, but having owned a 21, 24 and 28 Skater previously, he says it definitely doesn't get over the rough as well. All of the new modern outboard cats are designed more for acceleration and top speed in the smooth, trading-off rough water capabilities. It's possible PBC made some changes to it to make it their own, but from what I understand, it's the same DW designed 28 hull that Dan bought back in 2016/2017. It's nice to see more "entry level" boats coming to market, but at the prices they're asking, I'm not sure how "entry level" they really are. It's not the manufacturer's fault, everything new is just ridiculously priced now.

Smaller tunnel and freeboard in the P280 and DW28. Like I said, that new P280 would be an amazing havasu / river runner.

I do believe Performance Powerboats is no longer associated with DW and these molds are new. Maybe based off the DW molds but I believe they’re all new. Maybe Matt can confirm.

by the way, was talking about you while at Barrett last week. Good things of course. ;)

Didn’t Doug W claim the opposite?

Do you know who the designer is?

Thanks, Dale!

This is something I have been wondering since the DW28 came out.

I saw that boat trailered away from B&W a couple of years ago. Had we arrived 5 minutes earlier, I could have asked. I also should have asked you at the poker run this summer, but the glory of Relentless made me forget it.

How is the 24 Skater coming along?

I assume there’s a center pod on the single engine boats?

When is that tuff cat coming out?
