radar guns suck at measuring boat speeds i have a custom radar gun and its difficult to get it to lock onto a boat with high accuracy there is way better technology to do this in todays world, factory billet,s run that was much faster than expected is questionable there is proper accurate ways to know top speed

This is why the APBA and UIM, and every other true boat racing org only recognize Kilo runs.
Surveyed and certified. Expensive, I get it. That brings us GPS’s, Lowrance, Radar etc. Is it the same as a Kilo run? Course not. But if, you understand it ain’t the same or, as we did at our runs, hand everyone the same, handheld GPS, they know, fastest guy there is fastest guy there. Compared to actual speeds??, who knows, who cares. Fastest there? Yes. Thanks for the story on the story. You guys are the best and PLEASE, don’t ever stop! |
