Any Pittsburgh Boaters???
 

My daughter is entering her third year of surgical residency just north of Pittsburgh and she has really missed the lake time. She has a free weekend in July, so I thought I might rent a pontoon for a day and get her on the water. I am having trouble in finding a handful of places to stop at or hang out. Are the any Pittburgh'ians in here that can help speed up my learning curve?

Grew up on Allegheny River. Downtown Pittsburgh will be your best bet. You can venture up Monongahela & down Ohio River also. I will ask a few buds back there what their favorites are these days. Hope it all works out perfectly for you.

I dock pool 3 on Allegheny and you may want to contact marina as they may help you find who rents pontoons?
