How do the outdrives hold up? I haven’t heard good things about diesels hooked to outdrives. But surprisingly the Volvo d350 somehow only has 630ft lbs of torque. Which isn’t too far off a 525.
Diesels in front of Bravos would be a "NO GO" for me however the drives Volvo puts behind it's diesels seem to be good. A Bravo drive holds 2.2 quarts of fluid.......My Volvo Penta DPH drives hold almost 2 GALLONS. The drives, the gears, everything is much larger in these than a Bravo and don't seem to be a problem.
