28-33' performance boat at loto
I'm at 1.5mm on the dam. Long story short. I keep my boat at the lake. Bought a 360 sundancer and I currently have an envision. I want a go fast boat. The sundancer obviously rides great and the envision same story I just wish it went faster. Previous to having the sundancer the envision purpose was to look cool accommodate the family. 5 of us! Not be a complete turd..swapped from 454 mpi to 502 mag didn't pick up much. Now that we have the sundancer to entertain guest on and for busy weekends. What would everyone's top picks be for a 29-33 ft single that handles the lake as well as performs well budget would be under 100k Really been eyeballing a vyper 340 however yet to see one at the lake. Share your thoughts please

We have a 29 fountain Single engine and it does okay at LOTO, but busy days or leaving an event like LOTO Powerfest it can get pretty wild. If you go out on weekends in the summertime I would go with the 340 or 33ft+, but can make due with a 29 if you have to, its just not always the best time. :D But it does make me very thirsty when we get back to the dock.

33 powerplay is an older hull and most been restored/updated to be more modern for today
but main thing is the 33 length helps on snotty days and the powerplays were built very thick and heavy for 33'er so also helps on the snotty days not the fastest power tp power but makes up in the bad water as is a great wave crusher i have a 32 hustler fully restored and its lots lighter and faster and runs awesome in the snott id stay in the 32+ range at loto |
Superboat Y2K, Phantom 30, there’s a single screw sunsation dominator out there for sale right now, an activator if you can find one, 28 pantera.

If your limited to a single the choices get less for decent ride and good performance
I think they made a few 29 Outlaws with a single that were popular at loto…. maybe get one and put some power in it Im thinking of some way to install a ballast tank for those days referred to above |

I've run the lake end to end on weekends for years in an 18' Champion bassboat so I'd say pretty much anything in the 29-33' range would be more than adequate :D My old 35' tub does it better though, so I tend to use it more. I can say the Scarab Excels do pretty well for a single engine setup in that length too...
