Was hoping to see it run. Cool effort but a lot of rumors and hype online…285mph, going after Qatar record, 10,000hp…and I’m not sure that all comes from the team but rather some internet fans. The in cockpit video shows it’s certainly fast clearing 200, but they ran it a long way. Hope they keep the effort moving it’s really cool. I’d have run wet blocks without question.…just my opinion.

Lots more needed to catch Onken.

Dirty Duck accelerates hard too. Love to see multiple 200mph efforts.

Good that 388 Skaters have become so affordable that you can use them for drag racing.

Its a big money effort for sure. I am glad to see someone is going after Spirit of Qatar, though I expect that if American Ethanol had a full mile the record would be theirs now.

The shootout is quickly going becoming a "spend to win" deal. Very cool to watch and participate in as long as we don't start to lose guys in the 3/4 distance. Speeds are already above what was anticipated when they shortened the course. We will see outboard cats in the 140s next year.

No different than when they went to 1000 ft in NHRA for fuel class's, Tasca and Force and others close to the 340 mph mark,

Lots of talk about turning up the 450s and 500s. Big gains available. I can probably help with ECUs if anyone gets interested.
