it does look familiar. Is that where the CC hit the house and rolled a couple years ago.

I would light that point up like a Christmas tree!!!

No...that was down closer to the dam about the 1 mile marker.

F-2 Speedy 09-10-2024 02:11 PM

Passably one good thing is it doesn't look like they were traveling very fast ? guarantee you wont see that boat for a while, packed away some where.

ICDEDPPL 09-10-2024 02:16 PM

Why would he need to hide the boat?
Why do the cops wanna be involved?

HOSSMAN 09-10-2024 02:19 PM

Funny (not really) but this has been posted on stupid book a few times and randomly gets taken down. Surprised it took this long to post on here.

Because they can, I'm sure they will try to bring some kind of charges to the driver if they can find them, or impound the boat

ICDEDPPL 09-10-2024 02:28 PM

If I run my car off the side of the road, get a tow truck and bring the car home that`s my business, cops don`t need to be involved in this either .They must be real bored.
Can`t prove anything at this point.

Sydwayz 09-10-2024 02:56 PM

Looks more "rocked" to me vs. "beached".

TVMNick 09-10-2024 03:21 PM

Is there any law stating authorities have to be notified if something like this happens? Boat held up pretty damn good for that rock embankment.

36Tango 09-10-2024 03:41 PM

I agree. No injuries or property damage, so I am not certain why the WP would be called.

IGetWet 09-10-2024 06:43 PM

Well if there’s a picture of it in daylight, and it happened in the middle of the night, it sat there for at least a few hours and the policia didn’t get to it. That would make me think they weren’t in a hurry to check it out.

thisistank 09-10-2024 06:43 PM

Most states have laws that if the damage is “significant” (some have a dollar amount) that it shall be reported (even if it’s your own vehicle). Who said there were no injuries? It’s not known because everyone bounced. Then there’s the theory that single vehicle collisions are usually alcohol related. Then there’s the endless waterway laws that I’m almost absolutely positive some law was broken. Off the top of my head - traveling at a safe speed for waterway conditions.

if the owners smart he goes and contacts water patrol and explains, he, sober as a judge, dropped his phone, swerved, hit shore. No one hurt, drug boat off and dealt with it. Done and done. Easy peasy.

outonsafari 09-10-2024 07:35 PM

I wouldnt admit to driver inattention or using/operating a mobile device etc etc while operating a motor veh/vessel etc etc

more like a fish jumped out in front of me and i swerved to avoid it.

they don’t. Anything that happens at loto and lake expo gets involved becomes drama. They do absolutely no research and regurgitate anything people post. I’m suprised they havnt been sued out of business

Why would he need an explanation at all , this isn`t Russia, yet.
He has the right to remain silent. I would exersize that right because anything he says can and will be used against him.

this location is nearby Camden/Toad area, if your heading out of the toad take a left toward the community bridge, prob 1/2 mile down on the east side of the lake. Taking a wild gues the boat wasn't going that fast from the pic, kinda gounded itself. May have missed the opening to that cove and didn't realize there was no room. That point is not easy to see at night and if your not familiar with it...............
