Everyone ok ??

Just got back home. Surge was 6 inches more than Helene. Most likely worse down from Venice south.
Lot of Sarasota didn’t lose power. But I did. Overall messy but no damage around here.

All good here boat jack didn’t make it. Never lost power or internet we still have winds here.

Friend up river from Ft Myers had about 15” of water in his house.

Decent wind gusts on east coast but honestly I don't think I got an inch of rain.

Tornados west and north of me definitely ruined people's lives.

Yeah he seems to be hitting all the right points, not wishy washy on anything and knows his job. Wish he was the Republican candidate for next month!

Stuart/Port Salerno had 3 tornadoes I know of. 2 of them were under 4 miles of my boat. Another was just over a mile away.

Boat never lost power, I'm watching it on cams. Small section of canvas flapping but otherwise seems unhurt (unless it got some dock-rash I cannot see).

Alls well here Lost power about 6:30 than shorty after that phone service, still without power and just got back phone service now. Boat survived well at the yard and after I saw the Tornadoes out in Arcadia I gave up on my Conestoga semi trailer.

First text I received was trailer was undamaged. Hope fully power comes on soon it’s still 75 in here and it’s going to cool down to 78 outside tonight. I have an inverter and a big fan running off one of my 275 amp batteries off the boat.

I froze 8 1 gallon milk jugs of fresh water over the week so freezer is cold and I can put a couple in the frig to keep it cool for now.

So glad it went down to a cat 3. The tornadoes had me a little freaked out though.
