I went out in some 10' one time in the 33 OL and the whole family was screaming, I turned around real quick.

thats because you didnt have a 17' whaler. lol

I`m guessing the OP doesn`t have a death wish and isn`t buying the boat to go out in hurricane weather.
15' waves ? I`m staying at the dock I don`t care if I have a 50' boat.

Lol you guys are funny. just for the record. Running in 15’ seas isn’t really that big a deal as long as they’re spaced out. You just quarter them.
But Yeah, I don’t usually choose to go out on 15’ seas…but I have in my dumber days. 😁 I’m a fair weathered boater these days. But the pacific whips up quick. White caps and big seas can sneak up on you. I like the confidence that a whaler doesn’t sink. It’s kinda their thing. Sh*t happens at least you have that security.

So between the two bathtubs mentioned. Again. Whaler all day.
