84 Sanger 29 Alley cat
 

I bought another boat project, 29' Alley cat. Currently has a Pratt Whitney turbine in it but I'm planning to re-power it.

Didnt Bob Nordskog have one of those with a turbine in it. I saw it over in Miami

Now that I think of it I think it was Howard Arnesons.

This boat came from the West out by Havasu and Meade, say a while in San Diego and somehow ended up on the East Coast.

Looks like fun With the turbine. What’s wrong with it ? Hp and speed when it was running ?

Good luck I told my friend about it he loves arensons h e sold a similar boat t hat went 110 w blown 540 e joy

So I am gonna re-power it. Either a twin turbo LS or twin turbo Big block. The current turbine is said to have had 850 HP and ran a solid and consistent 110-115. When it was sold back in 2015 I was told it ran a best of 120 mph.

It's gonna keep me busy for a while, I'm giving myself 2 years to have it water ready. There's no interior so it leaves me open to do whatever with it.
