You got some fantastic weather when you were down.
I'm headed down for a week and of course the forecast sux and I'm also hearing the lake is full of debris:mad::mad:

The rains the week before the Spring Fun Run flushed a lot of debris into the lake, but for the most part debris fields followed patterns. There will still random chunks of stuff you wouldn't want to hit, but there was remarkably little skeg and prop damage during that. I went out again later that with week with Justin Wagner of Waves And Wheels in his 39-foot demo cat and debris was minimal. (But the wind was howling.) I can't speak to it now.

And you're right about the weather that week. I caught the same perfect weather three years ago when I covered that run on scene.
