I admit I don't know the whole story. That's just my opinion of him. Pulling out of Cocoa Beach after the fact was a crap move. Then asking for sponsorship money back after the posters were already made that have your company name on them was totally wrong
also telling racers with your sponsorship not to race was wrong. I wish all the racers luck. Since to me it should be all about them. They put their money and health on the line for the shear fun of racing. And for our entertainment.

In a few years, a squadron of drones and some AI will sort it out at low cost.

Just an fyi. They backed out as a co-sponsor due to the fact that APBA and P1 would not honor there agreed upon arrangement for the Pro class-1 teams. So none of X’s Pro class-1 race boats could run in CB. You would want your money back also. The issue was not with CB at all the issue was with APBA and the CB race was a P1/APBA event. So they pulled out due to not being allowed to race there own boats. Also they never told any of the X-sponsored race teams you can’t race, they said it’s up to your race team to make that decision. Tough spot for all parties.
