Guys,

What a difference a week can make. Five days, really. I was there Father's day weekend. Friday, the lake was, for the most part, clear of debris. Probably the cleanest I've seen it this early in the season since the debris started showing up after raising the water after the dam repairs. Then it rained (and I mean rAiNeD) Saturday afternoon. Raising the water almost three feet in one day, plus washing out all the gulleys... AGAIN... Last weekend, the weekend of the 21st, the lake was a mess; a virtual minefield of debris. We spend a ridiculous amount of time just idling through literal rafts of crap. I fully expected the ThunderRun to be a complete sh!tshow. We got back down Friday afternoon, and it had cleared up a LOT. You still had to be wary, scanning the water for killers, but it was navigable. The boats were running much more conservatively than they normally would, from what I saw. Probably a good thing.

Thanks. Brad.
