Man...what a mess....
Good luck....:) I wish they put this much effort into prosecuting rapists and drug dealers and armed robbers....instead, these clowns are prosectued (or plead out) in a matter of months...serve 18 months, then go back out and ruin someone elses life as a repeat offender.........Gotta love that:rolleyes:  Keep swingin' away.... |
Nice ankle bracelet.
Good luck, again. |
The judge is asking that we resolve this before it goes to trial.......how do I read this?????????
|
as a good thing i would say....
|
That is what I am thinking too.......I really think this thing is like a tarbaby to them...the more they touch it the more they get covered in it. but what do I know
|
It sounds like the judge just wants the whole thing to go away... They know in the end they will not win, and are cutting their losses now.
|
It depends on who the judge was talking to when he said it and that probably isn't clear. If he said it to the prosecutor OR the defense lawyer, it is pretty clear he wants that side to lighten up.
If he said it to both parties, it means "...the case sucks but politics says I have to convict somebody of something." Beware. |

It was said to both parties in a status meeting , this was right after amendment 3 was handed over at the end of the day yesterday , when we were asking for the ruling on a motion for particulars on the second amendment of information.
