Talking Boating in Dec.

Went for a nice ride today with some friends of mine from Naples . Just four an hour. We took out my 24 Skater with 200's. I ran a set of a 14.5x32 3 blade cleavers. We race 95 with 3 of us wich was pretty fast for my boat. We ran up Sarasota bay and out Coquina channel, down LongBoat to Siesta Key. It was 1-3 on the outside but still nice. Just a quick little ride but always fun!
I love Florida!

Hi Ryan,

It was in the high 60's today in Vegas, with crystal clear blue skies. My only problem is my 40' slip at the LasVegas Bay Marina is EMPTY!! I'm boatless for the moment, but that will be changing. Hope you had a great day on the water. I usually boat year round on Lake Mead.

I don't want to hear that **** Fred. It was suppose to be in the 40's yesterday but never made it! High was 38, low last night was 23. The fog here is terrible. Everything has a glaze of ice on it.

We will be hooking up to the 36 in a couple of hours and heading south. Just wish I was doing some boating instead of delivering the boat for repairs.

Take care Mark

I hear that Ron

Smitty almost had to call the coast guard in to break the ice leading to the travelift so he can get the rest of the boats out.

I havent seen the bay frozen in a long time. Then again Im not generally down there this time of year either.

regards
