They were built by Rob at Blue Thunder. The owner is in some "trouble" this is just some money for his "Gal" he also has (2) Arneson #10's and (4) Borg trannys. The arnesons are duo shaft so you can run 2 motors into each drive. Chevyy blocks, BBS Blowers...

Sounds like a steal!!

That's what I was thinking, holy hell, 224K!!!!! Let's see, my little do it yourself-er is about $9-10k for 520hp. So, what is that, about $18-$20 per hp. Man, I know full time racers that buy motors for less than 56K a piece!!

Blue Thunder 1050s at 75K a piece(100K is the reserve)

or

get the Merc name, a 90 day warranty, a 1050sc, your first rebuild, a trans and number 6 for not too much more

With only 5400 rpm, 1050 horse on only 7.5 lbs boost? No inner cooler? Manifolds not headers? $100k might be a good price but not $224k he paid.
