A little bit about Duke's story:

It`s super crowded you can`t find parking or docking or slips, launch is **** show , restaurants are full and service takes years
I avoid that weekend like the plague.

Basically why we've never been. And why we avoid Desert Storm at Havasu. **** show. Seemed this year at LOTO though things were smoother and well laid out. maybe due to the new course location?

I had a good time with my boat last year and I didn’t think it was too bad. Weather this year had me sad I missed it.

I didn't want to jinx it, so I kept it to myself all weekend - but it was the best weather I can ever remember for a Shootout! Seemed like fewer runs this year, but that should be expected with the team figuring out new location logistics. New location is fantastic and should allow for further growth!

I agree with all mentioning the quality of the livestream. We've come a long way coverage-wise in the last few years!

Remember the time I would post a phone call recording of Matt Trulio from Lake Havasu with daily updates as the internet service was so bad there… 🤣🤣
Had to do what we could with what we had to work with…🤷‍♂️

I've been doing the shootout for 12 years now and this was a top 3 best trip for me. It was a good week.
