New 2000hp Millennium Motors

Has anyone else read the article in the new Power Boat Mag? There will be a new kid on the block at the Miami boat show. Millennium Motors will be displaying their new 1000 to 2000 hp engines. Beautiful engines and new technology with 2 x the warranty for custom engines. Overhead cams , 11 1/4 deck heights on a 540 block. Great article and the motors may change the way engines are built for the marine industry.

HyperBaja 12-11-2002 10:55 AM

hmmm........
2000hp
19' Baja

guess i wont do that, i would need a new drive then and thats to costly.

puder 12-11-2002 11:59 AM

i think a bravo could handle that much for at least 5 or 6 seconds, at idle.

HyperBaja 12-11-2002 12:20 PM

I got an alpha, so do you think maybe 3 sec at idle?

Brad Zastrow 12-11-2002 01:42 PM

I believe the article said the 2000 hp version was in a drag race car. I don't think a marine application would last very long even with the required race gas.

HyperBaja 12-11-2002 03:28 PM

aaaw, so i will have to settle with only 1000hp on the 19 baja with alpha?

EX20 12-11-2002 03:42 PM

2000HP was a reliable marine engine version. The dragster version made a little more HP.......like 6000HP! Holy Crap!

Brad Perry 12-11-2002 04:18 PM

The shocking thing here is not the horsepower, it's the spelling.

Puder:

"i think a bravo could handle that much for at least 5 or 6 seconds, at idle."

Something's wrong, I've read over this many times, and I can't find any misspellings.....WTF, you've been pulling our leg all this time!

:D :D
