They were built by Rob at Blue Thunder. The owner is in some "trouble" this is just some money for his "Gal" he also has (2) Arneson #10's and (4) Borg trannys. The arnesons are duo shaft so you can run 2 motors into each drive. Chevyy blocks, BBS Blowers...

Sounds like a steal!!

Lets see that’s around $53.33 per hp. How does that compare?

That's what I was thinking, holy hell, 224K!!!!! Let's see, my little do it yourself-er is about $9-10k for 520hp. So, what is that, about $18-$20 per hp. Man, I know full time racers that buy motors for less than 56K a piece!!

Ok;

Blue Thunder 1050s at 75K a piece(100K is the reserve)

or

get the Merc name, a 90 day warranty, a 1050sc, your first rebuild, a trans and number 6 for not too much more

hummmmmm

if my figures are off, please correct me

With only 5400 rpm, 1050 horse on only 7.5 lbs boost? No inner cooler? Manifolds not headers? $100k might be a good price but not $224k he paid.
