Various publications (magazines) and private parties have approached me several times for the use of photos I have taken at boat racing events.
In most of those instantces they then back off when I tell them they are not of mega pixel (mp) resolution.
I currently have an Olympus 2100 and shoot at 1600x1200p. My camera will shoot at 2.1mp but I am nnow concerned that, that is not good enough for magazine use.

I have been looking at the Nikon coolpix 5700 that ups the resolution to 5mp. Will 5mp solve my resolution problem with magazine useage?

My must include:
-Less than $2000
-a 8-10x optical zoom AND a teleconverter (400-500mm)
-rapid frame advance
-movie mode

You might want to try the advertising dept of one of these Mags about the res.
Doesn't anyone use an f-body anymore?
