I think we need a full race season to see how the IHRA ownership works out.

Personally, I hope it does.

It appears the owner of the IHRA is a serious boat guy.

Made serious waves at LOTO as an entrant no?

Me being an OB guy and a big fan of F-1 (type) tunnel boats, they bought into that too.

Boat racing is a tough nut to crack.

Is our target customer the boat racer?

Do we need spectators??

Hows that work??

Who do we charge for our services?

I’m not sure how strong the APBA is now, either???

Saw a post where they were defining who they are and what they do.

At this point looks like umbrella insurance coverage is one of the big things and then sanctioning the races to where they are recognized by other sanctioning bodies.

Especially if records (surveyed courses) are involved.

I know they just moved their offices from Michigan to a building on the fairgrounds of Springfield Ohio where they have OB drags, F-1 type oval course and kneel down racing.

I really want to go Vintage class OB oval course racing which is APBA sanctioned but the closest race is 7 hrs away and I can go OB drag racing for 1/3 the cost.

And with 5 races within 2 1/2 hrs from me, travel expenses would be 1/4.

I plan to hit a couple of the IHRA Offshore races too.
