They posted on YouTube. Water pump bearing let go, ended up overheating and taking out whole motor.

Ouch, one of my fears. Running right one second, take your eyes off the gauges and seconds later it's pinned. Hopefully a quick fix and nothing warped

Nothing a quick 120K won't fix by the time you remove, ship, rebuild, and replace. Those were fresh motors that Tyler had sitting. Like he said, its all part of boat racing "bring your helmet, jacket, and checkbook". It could have been much worse-fires scare the hell out of me.
