Transom looks great, what kind of ext boxes are those ? Why would you not use the new ITS ??
Keep the pics coming. |
To answer your quesrion
The ITS does not have as much set back as the box does. We like to get the drive back in clean water . This also helps the boat to turn better, and that much set back will help leverage the boat in rough water conditions making it feel longer.

I dont know anything a bout your project but it looks great but in looking at that transom shot, I have one question
Where is the exhaust and or exhaust holes? ummm Dont cha need that little thing called exhaust or are you rigging a brand new boat and they are not cut in yet? Jason PS everything looks good in the pics, Im picky as well as how my wires lay and everything else, HAS to be neat and clean and tidy makes maintenance and everything easier and can follow wires to wherever they go better. Its a new boat.
We have not cut the exhaust holes yet.

Tres,
I've got a stupid question fer ya... How well would a Cafe Racer perform with the Stellings TRS to Bravo Conversion kit(which I believe is a standoff box) leaving the motors in their stock position and installing a drive shaft to the box? Sean |
Answer
If you can install the bravo at the highest bolt hole you should be ok. The bravo will use up less horsepower. The lower case is more effecient through the water. Not to mention today you can get the short lowers to raise your height. You should have good success.

Thanks...one last question...
