The New Jersey Performance Powerboat Club's Atlantic City Poker Run ran 21 times - 1998 through 2018. Following its 2018 season, the club disbanded for several of the factors Matt detailed.

Default Need a Change

The shootouts are ok but running a Drag event with Offshore boats imo would bring new life to our sport. Besides specific classes you can have grudge, call outs, smack talk with double elimination. There’s talk of one contemplated being run in the fall on the Chesapeake, if the stars align.

Kenny Mungles Gone Again vs MTI Speed Racer- pretty badass

. Kenny pulling and almost passing the MTI. Video tape showed the MTI won by 4 feet!

Just keep these issues in mind when you are running up on the families in toons and other smaller craft. Me, I love it, I have a ring side seat on the dock.
I was also thinking that I had a "gotcha" with the Support Our Troops run at Lake of the Ozarks. It was originally started by the guys at MidwestBoatParty.com in 2008. I love watching all of the runs from our dock, but one of my favorites is the Cigarette Rendezvous that will have as many 200 fire breathing big blocks thundering down the lake together. Not exactly sure when it started, though.

Skip had I think two Cig rendezvous runs down in Florida years ago. PBCs first Cig rendezvous was in ‘15 I believe.
