If you haven't heard by now, Extreme Boats Magazine is a new publication that will print issue #1 in March 03. We have spent the last several months recruiting new talent with fresh ideas to write for us. For this reason we are proud to announce that Ron Polli, yes OSO's own "Ron P" will be serving as our Offshore Editor throughout the year and Joe Skrocki, yes again OSO's "Audacity" will be serving as our Technology Editor. We would like to welcome Ron and Joe to our magazine and we're confident that you'll enjoy reading their slant on things throughout the year. If you haven't already, you can go to http://www.extremeboatsmag.com/ and sign up for a free subscription so you won't miss their stories, like Ron's first article about taking a ride at 195mph on Jet Set.

Thanks guys! I'm really looking forward to this new challenge.

I'll be focusing on the racers and race sites throughout the year. I'd really like to hear some thoughts from you guys and gals about what type of information you would like to see in our magazine that other publication never seem to cover.

I'll also be writing performace reports on Extreme boats around the country. Wow, what a job!

I am hoping to fill the void in offshore reporting since John Crouse and Capt Bill Novak left the scene many years ago. I plan on providing the reader with a much more of an intimate reading experience than can be found in any other publication.

Your thoughts and opionions would be appreciated.

Wow, that's some kewl news! Smart management strategy!

Ron, congratulations. Love to see a guy get to follow his passion. Now you and Terrie have a great reason (read tax deduction)to come out to Havasu this Spring for the poker run. Trust me, there will be plenty of "extreme" boats! On the way back to the airport, my wife can show Terrie the street of carrots ;)

Hey Ron...Think of all the travel bennies...:D:D:D

So... what would you like to see in print that your not getting from the other boating mags??? Looking for your thoughts.

Oh UT. Terrie isn't much of a farmer so I'm not sure she would enjoy seeing carrots. I guess I'll leave her home for that trip.:D

However she might like to see a street of Carats.;)

PLEASE, don't give Save the Manatee a add in your mag, I am still not happy with PB decision to do that.

On the bright side I am looking for first issue, make it a collectors:p
