It has rained enough for a foot of snow

It has rained here all day and at times like the end of the world. I just can't imagine how much snow this would have produced if it was only a few degrees cooler. So far 3 inches of rain. That would be 20 inches of snow. It is time to buy a quad. Screw the sleds, they are worhless without snow or wheels. Merry Dirty Brown Warm Boring Christmas. Hey at least I have my health:rolleyes:

SKIDOO!!!!!!!!!! You'll be lucky to have them out of the shop by the end of January:D :D

We ususally do go to Tip Up Town on the second weekend. Most of the time we start around there as a staging area (neighbors cottage on the lake) and head up to Fredrick, Gaylord, or Kalkaska. I'm hoping to spend some more time in the UP this year though. Like I've said before, we should get some OSO trip planned.

Hey Playn, we will have an OSO get together in th UP. Just pray for snow and don't stop until April.

Playn - if I didn't know better, I would say that looks like Marquette County - specifically the Sands area, near KI Sawyer...
Srobak, It's Luce & Schoolcraft counties south of Grand Marias and NorthEast of Seney.

Playn, we will have to take you to the lookout hill that is near there. It is really easy to get lost in those woods, we have done it a few times. Those plaines are fun and hold snow forever. Don't you love the Adams Trail that gets you there. It is like a two land highway but smoother and no speed limits.:D
